Rs 600m water supply schemes in interior Sindh
KHAIRPUR: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah says water supply schemes in Khairpur, Nawabshah, Shirkapur, Ghotki and Larkana will be completed at cost of Rs 600 million with Asian Development Bank’s assistance. Addressing reception hosted by business community here, he said Sindh Government will spend Rs 300 million on water supply schemes and remaining Rs 300 million provided by ADB. Sindh Road Transport Authority (SRTC) will re-start with air-conditioned buses purchased in first phase and 5000 buses in second for SRTC, he added. Chief Minister said work on Shah Hussain Bus stop bridge and on Railway crossing Faizabad (National Highway New & Old) will start very soon at cost of Rs 800 million each. One at Luqman Railway crossing constructed at cost of Rs 640 million. Industrial zone will also be set up here on which Revenue department is working. ppi
